Lyla Wanda Graul

Lyla Wanda Graul, 89, of Du Quoin, passed away at 5:55 P.M., Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at Fair Acres Nursing Home in Du Quoin.
Lyla was a homemaker.  She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Home Extension, and VFW.
She was a Coast Guard veteran of W.W.II.
She was born December 18, 1913 at Herrin, IL, the daughter of Ben F. and Nora Ann (Poos) Walker.
She married Edward Graul on July 5, 1942 at St. Genevieve, MO and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, one daughter - Priscilla Crews and husband Charles of Murphysboro, IL, two sons - Steve E. Graul of St. Louis, MO and John B. Graul and wife Debbie of Virginia, two sisters - Helen A. Keyser and Emma B. Sweet both of Arkansas, one brother - Ervin E. Walker of St. Louis, MO, and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, four brothers, and one granddaughter.
Memorial services were at 7:00 P.M., Saturday, March 1, 2003 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Paul Schultz officiating.
